North Orange County CCD – Fullerton Community College – Multiple Projects

C.W. Driver was selected to provide CM Multi-Prime services for 30 new construction and renovation projects on the Fullerton College campus. One of the first projects was a new 72,000 SF, two-story library/learning resource center, completed in 2005. Other projects include a 1,400 car parking structure, office building (approximately 90 offices), the remodel of 18 buildings (160 classrooms and 50 science laboratories) and a child care center. Work includes seismic upgrades and new/upgraded infrastructure. Projects have been successfully completed despite the challenges related to modernization and working on an occupied campus such as phasing, staging and unforeseen conditions. C.W. Driver’s management of the various prime contractors, communication with design teams and use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for clash detection and field coordination proactively resulted in the on time, within budget delivery of this complex program.
