Knott’s Berry Farm – Soak City

C.W. Driver was selected by Knott’s Berry Farm to complete a series of projects at Soak City U.S.A. in Buena Park. This involved the construction of buildings within the Orange County themed aquatics park including the main entrance, “Splash Zone” Lagoon, and a lazy river trailing throughout with a pedestrian bridge joining both sides of the park. The feature water ride, “The Perilous Plunge” was added, and at that time was the tallest water ride drop built to-date. Casual dining and snack facilities were constructed, and team also built back-of-house maintenance and retail merchandise buildings. Other heavily themed elements such as “Davey Jones Lockers” locker rental facilities, men’s and women’s changing rooms and restrooms were incorporated, along with one of the park’s main focal points: a themed lighthouse.
