Grossmont Cuyamaca CCD – Grossmont College, Learning Resource Center

The project consisted of the expansion and seismic upgrade with a new two-story, 54,412 SF addition to the north end of the Learning Resource Center increasing the building to 104,000 SF. This expanded the collection space and student study areas, updated technology and improved access for the disabled. The space for the original Learning Resource Center was converted to a 46,511 SF technology center with a large, open computer area for students. Writing, math, English and other computer labs, previously spread around the campus, relocated to the mall, allowing for more accessible technical support, and more convenience and efficiency for students and staff.
