City of San Diego – Mission Hills – Hillcrest Public Library

The Mission Hills-Hillcrest Harley & Bessie Knox Public Library is located in Mission Hills, California and is nearly four times the size of the previous library. The 15,000 SF, one-story library features a study space, computer lab, community meeting room and gathering spaces, Friend’s of the Library room and larger children and teen spaces. With over a 10,000 SF increase in space, craftsman and contemporary design features and rooftop photovoltaic cells and other elements helped the building achieve LEED® Gold Certification. This library is built above a 30,000 SF, two-story, underground parking structure with 85 parking spaces.
