The redevelopment of the former Juan Cabrillo Elementary School campus will create a separate and distinct Malibu High School Core building. The project includes demolition of all nine existing buildings on the former campus, totaling 38,853 SF of demolition. The new Malibu High School Building will be approximately 70,000 SF and features a library, multi-purpose spaces, visual and performing arts classrooms, project-based learning facilities, special education classrooms, STEM classrooms, a campus cafeteria, high school administration, and more to support a student body of 450 to 600 students.
