The Cerritos Library is a prominent architectural landmark famous for being the first building in the United States to be clad in titanium. Located in the Civic Center/City Hall Complex, it is a focal point for the community. Today, the library is a highly themed, high tech, experiential space including an imaginative children’s library with a 14,000 gallon salt water aquarium, full size T-Rex dinosaur skeleton and space shuttle on gantry. More than 200 computer work stations, high level finishes and an extensive art collection make the library a community jewel. The parking structure can hold a total of 556 cars and was constructed using poured-in-place concrete.
