The Learning Resource Center is a state-of-the-art, digitally enhanced 87,000 SF, two-story complex. It houses OCC’s library, administration, faculty offices, student study rooms, a 100-seat lecture hall, archive storage area, technology research center and the media library. Built for District-wide use, it is currently the largest building on campus. The steel backbone and concrete slab on deck construction provides the open interior spaces necessary in a building where long-term flexibility, way-finding and efficiency are critical. The exterior is clad with finished concrete and a brick and integral-color plaster to maintain a classic institutional appearance.
