Situated at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains, the new 18,000 SF, three-story Bachmann Collaboration Building at Flintridge Preparatory School features state-of-the-art facilities that focus on cultivating lifelong learners by providing students opportunities for hands-on learning experiences. The addition brought new laboratories, art studios, classrooms, meeting rooms and offices to the Flintridge campus. Built on piles on top of the city culvert, the new building is a combination of CMU and steel framed walls with curtain walls, storefront, ACM and fiber cement panels as the exterior skin. The project scope also included a new fire lane, landscape, and a new mechanical and electrical equipment yard.
