Kaiser Permanente is the nation’s largest nonprofit health plan serving more than 8.2 million members. Existing Medical Office Buildings (MOBs) were renovated in order to meet the need for medical facilities that offer more space for outpatient surgical procedures, infrastructure to house complex equipment in areas such as radiology, and expanded clinical space.
C.W. Driver has completed the improvement of 32,216 SF within the Kaiser-owned Pasadena Foothill MOB, incorporating space for 23 more service providers. The first floor was renovated to incorporate Intermediate Care Services (ICS) with 11 treatment bays, CT scan with two holding bays, and a lab expansion. On the second floor, space was adapted for Physical Medicine with two exam rooms, Physical Therapy with treatment rooms, a gym, Psychiatry and group rooms.
