The new Seaver Life Sciences Building integrates the University’s three key project objectives – interdisciplinary collaboration, science on display, and sustainability. In order to continue to foster excellence in all areas of science and engineering, the new 100,000 SF building was designed with modern laboratories and collaborative research space. Facilities include three subterranean levels with 373 parking spaces and three above grade levels housing 9,000 SF of faculty research lab space, 24 teaching labs, lab support spaces, vivarium, faculty offices, classrooms, shared public spaces, a rooftop garden and laboratory, conference rooms and a 273-fixed seat auditorium with adjoining 1,800 SF terrace.
