San Diego CCD – Mesa College, Fine Arts Building

The renovated, 4-story Fine Arts Building creates a cohesive department in a single building that will serve as a highly visible and thriving hub for Fine Art students. The Mesa College Art Gallery is located on the first floor, as well as the student gallery. The fourth floor houses the ceramics and sculpture studios and workshops. Large, open studio classrooms allow for maximum flexibility for their dynamic contemporary program. Features include industrial finishes, open floor plans, high ceilings, and polished concrete floors. The project is designed to obtain a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Silver certification from the US Green Building Council.
