San Diego USD – Darnall Charter School, Whole Site Modernization

The Darnall Charter School project consisted of two new classroom buildings and various site improvements. The first phase included the construction of a new elementary classroom building and a new middle school classroom building with site improvements necessary for the buildings and playground areas. Both buildings are two stories tall. The elementary classroom building has eight classrooms with collaboration areas and support restrooms. The two-story middle school building has ten classrooms, one science classroom, and support restrooms. The new buildings were constructed on the existing playground areas. Upon completion of the buildings, the existing portable classrooms were removed, and those areas reverted to playground fields. The Darnall Charter School is a kindergarten to 8th grade school located on the former Darnall Elementary School Campus.
