The K-5 elementary school is a technology-oriented school focusing on “next generation” classrooms, pedagogy, and sustainable design principles. The three-acre site includes four buildings. Building A is a two-story, 26,500 SF administration, flex classroom, and maker space building. Building B is a one-story, 6,500 SF classroom building. Building C is a two-story, 34,100 SF classroom building with collaboration spaces and indoor/outdoor learning areas. Finally, Building D is a one-story, 10,150 SF multipurpose and kitchen building. All buildings were retrofitted with photovoltaics.
